Hey there! After a long hiatus, I am here posting my entry for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Christmas Critters

I used a hodge podge of products for this card

The background stamp is from Clearly Besotted, the reindeers stamp is from MamaElephant and the Christmas stamp is from Lawn Fawn. I used the Greetings die-cut from Reverse Confetti.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Photo Inspiration

Hello! Here's my entry for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Photo Inspiration.

Love the mood board that was created by Jenn for this challenge. I decided to settle for this photo as my inspiration.

It's a clean and simple one-layer card I made for this week. I die-cut the square background from Simon Says Stamp Stitched Squares die. I used a cloud die-cut from Lawn Fawn as my stencil and I coloured and blended the sky using my Faber-Castell polychromos pencils. I added the sentiment from Ali Edwards' Missing You stamp set.

Stamping Smiles Designs: Tic Tac Toe Challenge #13

Hey there! Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Here's my entry for Stamping Smiles Designs: Tic Tac Toe Challenge 13. Made this card especially for a dear friend who recently graduated from med school. Welcome to the fraternity!

The 3 elements I chose are Shimmer | Border Stamps | Balloons

I used the digi stamp from The Greeting Farm and Copics-coloured her. Added the balloon stamp from Lawn Fawn. My shimmer background was a happy accident. I had originally wanted to use Perfect Pearls as a medium for the card's background but I accidentally spilled black glitter on my piece and so voila! I decided to make the best of it and I believe it turned out rather well!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Animal Magic

Hello again!

Here's my card for this week's Simon Says: Animal Magic challenge! It was so much fun creating cards using animal images. They're my favourite sort of cards to create. I used an old Stampavie stamp called Under My Umbrella. I love this image as I love both dogs and cats equally! The sentiment stamp is from Paper Smooches' Perpetual Bliss stamp set. I used Copics on the image and die-cut the oval frame with Spellbinder's Nestabilities. I finished the card with some green twine and enamel dots.

Stamping Smiles Designs: Tic Tac Toe Challenge #11

Hello! Here's my entry for Stamping Smiles Designs' Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #11 and I've decided to use these three elements Garden | Twine | Scalloped Border

I wanted to create a soft yet vibrant palette for this card. I used an old Hero Arts' Layered Flowers stamp and watercoloured the blooms with Gansai Tambi watercolours. The sentiment is from mamaelephant's Organic Blooms.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Mask It

Hi there!

Here's my card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Mask It.

I used the negative of the Paper Smooches Cityscape 1 die as a mask for my card image. Then, I added colour to my image using Distress Inks to create a galaxy background (inspired by Kristina Werner's post here)

Stamping Smiles Designs: Tic Tac Toe Challenge #10

Hey there! Sorry for the scarce post lately, work has been demanding! But here I am today posting my entry for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #10!

My elements are Chevron | Resist Technique | Bow

I thought about it for a while and decided to make a whimsical tictactoe card. I mean, why not? :) I created a Chevron Bow with my WRMK punch board and hand-drew the tictactoe grid on the front of my card and embossed it with an off white embossing powder. The line's a little kooky but hey, that's the best part of handmade, right?

Finally, I used some Tim Holtz's distress inks in Worn Lipstick and Peacock Feathers for my card's background using a simple resist technique.

Enjoy and thanks for looking!

Stamping Smiles Designs: Tic Tac Toe Challenge #09

Hello all!

It's been a while but today I'm popping in with a card for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #9.

I chose the diagonal elements of Flowers | Sponging | Scene for my card.

I sponged the background with Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean distress inks. Then, I created a little outdoor scene for my new Mama Elephant's Pix's Favorites. I coloured the bunny with Copic markers. I added the clouds using the Lawn Fawn's Puffy Cloud Borders. For a final touch, I added flowers using a small Marvy flower punch.

Thanks for stopping by!

A new beginning

Starting a new arts and craft blog today for my handmade creations and hoping to meet more like-minded friends!

Hopefully I will be able to keep up with this as I am notoriously bad at updating. Anyway, here goes!
